Phyllis James
Phyllis was born and raised in the heart of Alabama, where she learned at an early age that hard work and treating people with respect is the key to success.
Phyllis has been a licensed Realtor in Arizona since 1986. Prior to obtaining her Arizona license, she owned and operated a successful residential relocation service in Colorado Springs, Colorado, that gave high priority to transitioning military families. After wintering in Arizona, she opened a relocation service in Scottsdale specializing in winter visitor rentals and second home buyers who desired a type of “Lock and Leave” residence.
By using her skills and knowledge in the real estate industry and her compassionate understanding of people in transition, Phyllis strives to deliver a positive experience to every client.
Her real estate expertise is enhanced by a natural creative flair. With a background in interior design and remodeling, Phyllis is an expert in the art of staging a home for sale. Experienced in renovation, she can see what a home can become with some well-directed cosmetic changes.
In addition to her real estate business, Phyllis holds a United States Patent and Canadian Patent for a unique product she designed and distributes with her fiancé, Jim Enke. Together they co-own Candle Perfection, “The Perfect Candle Never Melts”, a candle manufacturing and distribution company based in Scottsdale.
Phyllis is dedicated to giving back to her community. She conducts an annual “Warm Wishes” Blanket Drive each year during the holidays, hosts an annual “Walk for Autism,” and is a strong member of her local church. Phyllis is the “communication link” in her neighborhood, maintaining a community bulletin board for announcements and gatherings.
Phyllis enjoys cooking, entertaining, golf, and spoiling her bichon-peke named “Jesse James.” She recently adopted a seriously injured puppy and has nurtured him through the rehab process. Today a healthy “Skippy” is part of the family and a good pal of “Jesse James.”
